Torry Hill Park near Sittingbourne

Torry Hill park is an area of historic parkland being restored under the Countryside Stewardship Scheme. Predated by an earlier farmed estate the parkland was created by Thomas Pemberton in the early 19th century. An extensive programme of tree planting, thinning and pasture reestablishment is being undertaken to restore the park to it''s early 20th century layout. a network of permissive paths have been created to allow the public to wander and take in the stunning vistas over the north kent coast.
